With rain and cold winds, our group consisted of 9 people, gathering under a shelter on Saturday, October 14. 2023 at 12 pm. on the grounds of Our Lady of Victory Parish Church. On Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 1:30 pm being our usual weekly Rosary prayer, with 10 people present, we held a repeat Rosary Rally at the statue of Our Lady of Fatima, at the church of Our Lady of Fatima. The weather was still cloudy, and cold but better. Together there were 13 individual people in attendance as some attended both. Our group consists of mostly elderly people who pray from their hearts and hold a special devotion to Our Lady, so we were joyfully praying using the program we received from Canada Needs Our Lady. Next year, we hope to make our CNOL Rosary more Public, walking along the sidewalk, in the sight of traffic which we had planned for this year. We are most grateful to have had the opportunity to join CNOL Rosary Rally.

This was the first time being a Rally Captain and I felt it went well. When I arrived at St Thomas More Church I was surprised to meet a husband and wife who were there and had been running the Rally for over 5 years. No one had informed that there was a Rally at St Thomas More even when I had submitted the location to Canada Needs Our Lady. Regardless they were very kind and allowed me to lead the Rosary. There were about 25 in attendance including our Associate Pastor. I did make copies of the attendance sheets but due to the weather(cold and rainy) and other concerns, they were not filled out.
The other concern being that I dont quite understand why people who come out to pray are being asked to fill out their personal information for a total stranger. Although it is for a noble cause people nowadays are reluctant so I was not comfortable pursuing it.
Aside from that I was glad to be apart of such a beautiful event which this world is so much in need of especially at this time!
Thank you

We joined our 2 churches together to pray for Canada at St. Peter’s in Milk River. We started at 11:00am due to a wedding being booked in the church for 1:30pm. The majority of our participants were elderly (over 70) and the weather was not nice. We prayed in the entrance of the church with the one door open so people walking or driving by could see / hear us. Most of the participants sat on chairs with 3 of us standing. We concluded the event with coffee and desserts in our church hall. The consensus of all there was Canada needs our prayers more now than ever before.

This rally was attended by 10 parishioners and was led by the parish priest at St. John Paul II Parish. With a number of parishioners representing a variety of backgrounds, each decade of the Rosary was led in a different language (i.e. Portuguese, Spanish, French, Tagalog, and Polish). The responses were in English.

After the rally, an independent Christian spoke with our parish priest about his appreciation for seeing a visible witness of the Christian faith and asked if he could use the Church as a background for a music video he wanted to make.

Since our Church faces a lake front, a lot of passerby noticed our public Rosary.

I am interested in being a Rosary Rally Captain once again for 2024, but will only confirm after discussing with my parish priest.

We gathered for prayer over 25 people, some new to the group. We prayed initially the Sorrowful Mysteries, then came to my mind to ask the attendants if they would like to pray another Rosary for peace and they agreed, so we prayed the Joyful Mysteries, ended with the Litany, and chanted the Sanctissima. The participants were grateful and peaceful with joy.

I am glad we were able to accomplish this event, with the help of our Lady. I hope more people will join in the future.

Pembroke

This was Pembroke’s 1st Public Rosary Rally. I booked the Pembroke Amphitheater well in advance so it was easier for the older people to sit and so everyone could hear us pray with the microphones.
The waterfront is generally a busy spot.
I asked our local Deacon to play his guitar and sing the songs with us. He also helped me make sure that all the parishes in our area received notification, (three weeks in advance), to put in their bulletins.
The Pembroke Diocese has both French and English parishes, therefore I asked a parishioner from one of our local French Church to help me say the Rosary in French as well. We took turns doing the intentions, 1st in English next in French and so on. I would say the first Joyful Mystery she would do the second and so on.
She also helped me welcome everyone, had them sign the attendance sheet and handed out the programs and intentions. I had copies of both French and English made.
A total of 65 people came to join us, including two Priests and one Deacon.
It was also nice to see two young families there.
I was very pleased with the turn out. Only 57 signed the attendance sheet.
If each of these 57 people brought one person next year we will have over 100.!!
When we finished singing O Sanctissima I asked Fr. Stephen to give all us a final blessing.
Pembroke had heavy rain earlier that morning but as we were beginning to set up for the Rally there was a whole in sky of no clouds and as we were saying the third Joyful Mystery The Sun came out ! It was so beautiful to see.
Thank you for giving me this beautiful opportunity to share my faith with others.

We have 37 pictures that were taken at the Rally these are the three best ones that show most of the grp and the people that helped me make it such a success.

The public rally was blessed with a good weather and attendance more than twice that of last year. It was attended by a diversified groups. Unfortunately, we were not able to register the complete attendance. We sang a Marian song after every decade. The participants expressed their feelings that it was a beautiful, blissful and blessed experience. After the prayer rally, we have some sharing of food and fellowship.

Toronto

It was again a great rosary rally for us, we started 2017. In 2019 the moment we started to pray we’re hit by a strong violent wind that just come from nowhere.
The wind came from different direction twisting our banner. We had to tie the banner poles to the fence. We prayed the “taking Authority Prayer”, the wind calmed.
The sun gave us a wonderful shine and colours. This Oct. 16, 2021, most of the invitees were unable to come for varied reasons, but the spot the Lord allowed us to hold the rally
was the best visibility so far. We’re almost at the intersection of Parliament St./Dundas St. E, a lot of passers-by, several times the cars stopped due to traffic and Fresco’s grocery buyers. They were looking, watching and reading the banner. The wind again came, detached the banner from the pole but not as strong as it was in 2019. We were prepared with the Taking Authority Prayer and St. Michael Prayer in Latin. What was a big extra for us was the message given by the Lord through Narcing Campana. He shouted at the end of the rally. The Lord says, “I heard your prayers. I respond to your petitions but we need to work together. You need to work on the solutions that I am providing to you.” Narcing said it aloud again and again. He is a quiet shy guy.

We prepared a simple snack, the participants brought their luck of the pot too.

Thank you for the opportunity to serve Our Lady,

Jose, Levee and the Team

The people passing by were friendly. We were all delighted to be part of this Rosary Rally for Canada. The torrential rains had stopped so that we could take out the banner. Unfortunately rains started again and damaged our banner but we can still used it. God bless you all for doing this work. The paper report follows in an envelope.

Today starting out at 12 O`clock we held a rosary rally.  We did a public walk through the down town core while praying the Rosary. We started out at the Catholic church and proceeded on an eight  block walk through the down town core returning to the church grounds as the prayers reached their end.

This was the third year we have conducted what we refer to as a Rosary rally public walk. we will be continuing the October public Rosary with this type of public walk on a yearly bases for the foreseeable future. As vehicles passed us on the side of the street we were not using, some were giving us a thumbs up; it appears the drivers and their passengers accepted our presence and were not bothered by the little inconvenience we might have caused them.

Today we started with 14 people and 4 more joined as we passed through the down town.

Public Square Rosary Rally

Sacred Heart Cathedral Catholic Women’s League hosted its first ever Rosary Rally to coincide with the national campaign of Canada Need Our Lady to take back the public square. Though many were invited, few attended on the Saturday of the Thanksgiving Weekend. This day is chosen as it is nearest Saturday to the 102nd anniversary of the Miracle of the Sun (October 13, 1917). At noon as busy traffic passed Third and Columbia, Catholics sang Immaculate Mary and O Sanctissima and prayed the Angelus, Rosary, Litany of the Blessed Virgin and others for the 2019 Intentions for the Public Square Rosary Crusade which included:
– To show God and His Blessed Mother our love and veneration, we offer this rosary rally as a special public commemoration of the 102nd Year Anniversary of Our Lady’s apparitions at Fatima.
– Through the most Holy Rosary, we ask Our Lord and Our Lady for the conversion of Canada so that it may fulfill its historic mission.
– To stop the waves of sacrilege, blasphemy and anti-religious hatred within our society.
– That our national leaders would seek to honour God’s Law and pray for the wisdom and knowledge necessary
to solve Canada’s complex problems.
– For the urgent triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Canada and the world especially as a result of our massive prayers and acts of reparation offered at these 102nd anniversary rallies.
nIn reparation for the countless sins which are committed daily against the most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the most Immaculate Heart of Mary.
– For the Catholic Church. May Our Lady grant it victory over its enemies, declared and undeclared.

See www.CanadaNeedsOurLady.org for more information. Plan to hold your own Rosary Rally or join with another group next year.

It was looking like our group would be small but (at the stroke of 12 noon) others joined us. So we numbered 11 in total…9 from our parish of St Leonard (including our priest) plus 2 others.
Not bad for a first effort !
It did begin to rain shower the moment we blessed ourselves to start but never was enough to cause us to get our umbrellas from the car.
We considered it an extra blessing…with holy water.
We gathered at the public park at the intersection of two major streets where there’s lots of traffic, as well as, sports fields…with a team practising.
The consensus was that we’ll do it again next year…and hopefully grow in numbers.

Good Morning, My name is Maria. The Rosary Crusade took place on Saturday October 12th, at noon at the corner of Close Ave and King St. West, by the statue of the Blessed Mother located outside of the Holy Family Church of Toronto, Ont.We gathered about 30 people and had two volunteers to hold the banner and another person to distribute the handouts. We followed the suggested Prayer Program and prayed the fifteen Mysteries (Joyful, Sorrows and Glorious) We took few pictures at the end of the program.  The Rally captain is in green jacket. You will find attached a list of names of the attendants. I collected some names. It was a nice spiritual experience for all of us who were present with no disturbances during the prayer, and we were blessed with good weather.  After the rain in the morning, it cleared up by noon, but it was windy reason for placing the banner against the wall of the building for protection. I am not signing for Rally Captain for 2020 at this time.  I will re-check it at the proper time. The part-time secretary forgot to include the memo sent to her for inclusion in the Parish Bulletin. That area usually sends a significant number of people to the Rally.
However, that did not prevent the event from being prayerful and a solid display of our faith and love for Our Lady. The statue of Our Lady of Fatima – 42 inches high – was proudly displayed on a table for all to see and to whom to pray.
Thank you to you for providing us with what was needed to pray fervently and with pride.

Our rally was supposed to be at a more visible location but we moved it in front of our church due to the worst weather condition here in Winnipeg. We have been experiencing the winter storm. A lot of trees fall on the road. Hence, we just have a few in attendance mostly from our Legion of Mary. Even then, we still managed to hold the Rally as our self-sacrifice for the reparation of sins and our love for Our Lord Jesus and Blessed Mother Mary.

Hay River, Northwest Territories

Today starting out at 12 O`clock we held a rosary rally. We do not do it the same way as it is done down south we do not go to a Public square stand there and pray the Rosary and accompanying prayers. We do a public walk through the down town core while praying the Rosary. We start out at the Catholic church and proceed on an eight walk through the down town core returning to the church grounds as the prayers reach there ending.

This was the third year we have conducted what we refer to as a Rosary rally public walk. we will continuing the October public Rosary with this type of public walk on a yearly bases for the foreseeable future. As vehicles passed us on the side of the street we were not using some occupants were giving us a thumbs up signal; it appears the drivers and their passengers accept our presence and are not bothered by the little inconvenience we cause them.

Today we started with 14 people and 4 more joined as we passed through the down town.

As you can see by the photos we had a nice clear sunny day it got all the way up to +11C.

Attached find 6 photos of our walk the caption under each photo indicates what part of the walk it represents plus the individuals name hat took the photo.

We never ripped the banner this year so we will have it for next year we will also be saving the guide pamphlet and extra payer leaflets that we had produced for distribution. We have these extra leaflets as the turn out was not as large as it has been the last few years.

We held our rally at St. Simon & St Jude Parish Church. It was advertised on our Parish bulletin, Facebook and within Knights of Columbus Councils in our area. As this was our first time hosting the rally, I was not sure what to expect or how many might turnout especially at noon on a Saturday. I was pleased when 2 members of our parish music ministry attended and led us in sing Immaculate Mary. It is important I believe to let you know that our parish has a small but faithful group who pray the rosary daily and that we have adoration of the Blessed Sacrament during many hours on week days. Paul added: ‘I was pleased that I decided to host the Rally and shared with attendants that there were close to 20,000 other gatherings worldwide.

Sidewalk at City hospital Saskatoon, SK

The Rally started promptly at 12 noon local time or a minute or 2 past the hour. It was attended by 5 persons – myself and my 2 teenage children, and 2 other adults, one of whom had attended my previous rallies. The weather was excellent, totally devoid of snows, which had marked previous rallies. This was the first time I held the rally at City hospital. The human traffic wasn’t as high as I expected, perhaps because it was a long weekend. The turnout was also not as impressive. I’m hopeful this will improve next year, God willing.

An interesting thought came to me as I was praying my rosary the day before the Rosary Ralley. It was an image from the Lord of the Rings trilogy when the sentinel fire is lit and you can see the the other sentinel fires dotting the mountain range signaling for help in battle. The image came with the words “Deep calls into Deep”… I looked up the words and it is from Psalm 42.

On October 14, 2017 we celebrated the 100-th Anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima Apparitions at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, with the kind permission of Pastor Father Raymond Peter, the generous help of custodian Bruce, parish secretary Nellie, and with the presence of a special guest – Our Lady of Fatima, a four-foot-high beautiful statue courtesy of the Sisters of Mount Carmel Monastery in St. Agatha, Ontario. This Public Square Rosary Rally was an initiative of the Canada Needs Our Lady organization, a special campaign of the Canadian Society for the Defence of Christian Civilization, which predicted a total of 600 such rallies to be held across Canada at the same time, during this special centennial anniversary. Mary, the Mother of God appeared to the 3 shepherd children Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta in Fatima, Portugal in 1917 – a total of six times, with the final apparition on October 13, 1917. On the same day the Miracle of the Sun also occurred to prove the authenticity of Mary’s apparitions and to strengthen people’s faiths, where the sun unnaturally began to spin in the sky and to fall towards the earth – a miraculous spectacle that was witnessed by 70,000 people. Mary’s messages to the children of prayer (especially the rosary), repentance, self-sacrifice, reparation and peace are messages that our world needs to hear today as well. This considering: widespread abortions (100,000/year in Canada alone), frightening natural disasters of apocalyptic proportions (i.e. recent hurricanes in the Caribbean and the U.S.), nuclear threats, and rampant attacks on the sanctity of marriage and families by most western governments and institutions.
This was a celebration with various ethnic groups attending, with songs of praise and various prayers, especially the rosary, which was said in four different languages, English, Polish, Spanish and Portuguese. Afterwards a beautiful feature film about the Fatima Apparitions entitled “The 13-th Day”, was shown in the church hall, with stunning images of the visions and the final miracle, that was never before fully realized on screen. The audience also enjoyed very delicious refreshments of coffee, tea and cookies during the film, courtesy of the ladies of the parish (Doris and Pat) and delicious pastry baked by generous outside volunteers (Tina and Grace).
A special thank you to everyone who contributed to make this a very special and blessed celebration of God’s message of hope for mankind, as revealed by the Blessed Virgin Mary at Fatima.
“Tell everybody that God grants us His graces through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, that they should ask her for them, that the Heart of Jesus wants the Immaculate Heart of Mary to be honoured along with Him, that they should ask the Immaculate Heart of Mary for peace because God has placed it in her keeping” – Saint Jacinta Marto

Everything went well, and we had almost 35 people attend. Thanks be to Our Lady, there was no rain and the temperature was good. We had the privilege of having with us Father George from Saint Mary’s basilica, and we had him crown the Blessed Mother who oversaw our rally. Heart’s Desire, NL

The location of our rally was Heart’s Desire, Newfoundland. We are a very small community, with the only Catholic Church, Sacred Heart, in our area. Our Sacred Heart CWL sponsored our Rally, and we held it at our “Lady of Lourdes” grotto which is outside our church on the main street.

It was windy and very cold, and we didn’t expect much of an attendance, but there were about 25+ attendees, including local parishioners and ladies from other CWL councils.

Because of the distraction of a death in our community that morning, and the weather, we neglected to get the attendance sheets filled out, but I will fill out and send as many as I can with my report.

The attendees were very enthusiastic and we did the whole program including a short homily in spite of the cold. From now to next year our focus will be on getting more youth involved.

Thank you to “Canada Needs Our Lady” for this rally. May God bless you and may he bless your important work.

Sincerely, Kathleen Langer

It was so amazing my “Yes” to our Lord did not disappoint me. I trusted our Lord and said Yes to the call without going much into details. First week I told people about CanadaNeedsOurLady Rosary Rally by word of mouth. When I got my banner and the program materials I was so excited and began to find ways to advertise my Rally. I got in contact with the local municipality, our Church and also through emails.

5 families came together and we had an awesome time with our Lady. It was raining in the morning and when almost time to start our Rosary the cloud enveloped us. I prayed that the rain be delayed until later. Our Lady heard the prayer and sun came out and stayed until we finished our rosary.

We recited the entire 20 mysteries of the rosary out loud and even sang parts of it in the downtown Sherbrooke area. We did not receive the Canada Needs Our Lady banner that we ordered, but we still managed to pull off a public rosary to pray for sinners and peace in the world.

We pray that our meager prayers will find favor with Our Lord through the intercession of Our Lady and our Father in Faith, St Joseph for the correction of the direction our country has taken but especially for souls that are being led astray.

Fredericton

The Rally was held in Fredericton, N.B., Saturday morning, Oct. 14, 2017 on the lawn of St. Dunstan’s Church near the Statue of Our Lady. It was directly across the street from the bustling Boyce Farmers Market. The Rally was organized by local priest, Rev. Dr. Michael McGowan. He asked for participation from local Fredericton parishioners from Our Lady of Fatima (incl. Fr. Richard Harris), St. Dunstan’s and other local Catholic churches, members of the Catholic Women’s League of Canada, the Knights of Columbus Councils, Fredericton Right to Life and others. Catholic passersby from the market also joined in. There were about 40 people in the group and your banners were held up for all to see.

Ottawa Near Rideau River Pathway

Our rally location was near the Rideau River Pathway on the edge of the street with cars passing by and pedestrians. A car passed by and honked and waved as an encouraging expression. We were able to do the rosary rally in Spanish as our group was Hispanic. It was our great pleasure to bring this Public Rosary to our Ottawa area. We hope to promote it and reach more individuals next year. Thank you for the blessed opportunity.
